I grew up on OakBrookLane in Merrick NY. Only a short walk to the Long Island Railroad Station taking me to Penn Station - a few blocks from the Garment District in Manhattan. The schlepping of garments on rolling racks across 7th Avenue, Fashion showrooms (AKA samples sales) and blocks and blocks of fabrics and trims resulted in my love of fashion. My INSPIREwear flannels are a homage to my childhood and what we look for in fashion - uniqueness, comfort, versatility and sustainability - not something you'd donate since it will become a favorite.
